even after you turn them on only conditional move and loop move show up. You have to go into customize dialog, drill down thru several menus and then turn them on, "them" are reference subop, conditional move and loop move. I have just moved from V12 to 1899, the inputs are not in the create subop drop down.
Bad part is it appears the feature is broken.
Starting in version 1747 they added some loop logic into generic motion, it was further enhanced in 1899 to allow direct post output, more or less you can create a smart insert statement that goes direct from generic motion to the post. We are doing the same thing currently, 1 hole in generic motion and then instance it around. NCL502 (yep I love Sequential Mill) RE: Generic Motion Question shags72 (Industrial) 20 Dec 21 12:46 Also it doesn't appear that the 2 that showed are working correctly, the doc show operators under them in a tree style format, mine don't appear to do anything.Īnyone out there willing offer a pointer or two, the location of a tutorial would be fantastic. I called GTAC and got "let me look into it", which I think was GTAC speak for I don't have a clue how it works. I found the 3 features in modify dialogue, turned them on, Conditional Move and Loop Move are visible but Reference Subop is nowhere too be found. I've been salivating over my own cycles to drive the tools as it is tedious when you have to add them to hundreds of holes in a single part.Īnyway, I reviewed the doc info (not very good) then viewed the video on youtube that was posted by Siemens but it is version 1847. We have been adding automated deburr tools to a lot of our program, mostly made by Heule. I had read about the enhancements to Generic Motion giving you the ability to create your own custom cycles etc. The system administrator just loaded 1899 on my box.
